Accomodations

The interior accommodation is finished in burl cut plantation grown African mahogany. 

In the bow there is a full height watertight collision bulkhead with a watertight door. 

The guest stateroom is just aft and has a very large V-berth with queen sized bunk to port and a single bunk to starboard.  Bunks have leeboards to be installed while vessels are underway to keep crew safely secured in bunks when on passage. 

Just aft to starboard is a very generously sized hanging locker with the guest head opposite to port.  The guest head has a vanity with an extra deep wash basin, electric vacuum head toilet and a “wet head” shower.

The owner’s stateroom is in the stern and has a full height watertight collision bulkhead at its entry with a watertight door.  The owner’s stateroom has a head to port that contains a vanity with an extra deep wash basin, and electric head.

Galley

The U-shaped galley is on the port side of the saloon.

The boat also has an Onan generator, 1300-Watt Solar System consisting of 2x450 watt solar panels mounted on an aluminum stern arch/davit, 400 Sun Power flexible panels.

Sails & Rigging

Kiana is a ketch rig with furling on the jib, main, and mizzen.  The main and jib furlers can be operated electrically or manually.  The mizzen is manual operation only.  This boat has a double headsail ballooner system.  

Winches are all self-tailing.  The primary cockpit winches are powered yet can also be operated manually, as is the mainsheet winch.  The boat is equipped with 2 electric winches for the jib sheets.
